New Chapters is a supported living service that offers support and accommodation to vulnerable adults in the South West. 

The directors at New Chapters, Sean Murray and Rebecca Smart have over 30 years of joint experience working with young, vulnerable people in a variety of settings.

 

Rebecca Smart has worked in Health and Social care for over 20 years and holds a level 5 Diploma in Health and Social care. Rebecca has worked in both local family run organisations and large corporate businesses as an operations Director and has gained extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance, good practice and partnership working with professional bodies and families. She is the Safeguarding lead for New Chapters and hold a level 5 qualification. Rebecca has worked with people with Autism, learning disabilities, mental health and Acquired Brain Injury and her extensive experience in a variety of settings is a huge asset to the company. Rebecca has a particular passion for nutrition and wellbeing and is currently working towards a diploma in nutritional therapy and has a keen interest in helping people to explore how to improve mental Health through making lifestyle changes.

 

Sean Murray has worked with adults and children with Complex needs for over 10 years, he has managed a large supported Living scheme for people with mental Health and Learning Disabilities and has extensive knowledge in working with people with Autism which is his passion. Sean has a level 5 Diploma as well as a range of other relevant management qualifications and has grown businesses successfully in a number of areas. Sean also has a Property Company and Partnership works with National Property companies and investment backers.

Our support workers are our most important resource and we pride ourselves on ensuring New Chapters is a fantastic place to work. Our staff are all trained in Diplomas where possible and undertake a variety of mandatory training to ensure they are fully equipped to work with the individuals we support.
